To say that I was honored to be the photographer for my friend Kristina‘s wedding would be an understatement. Firstly, it was my first experience as a wedding photographer, I have shot events in the past but not anything that was this important. So, I can’t thank Kristina enough for having faith in me, especially to shoot it by myself! I’ll be honest, I was mostly nervous and stressed the entire time; but overall it was fun and I enjoyed spending so much time with Kristina, her husband Jason, and all of their family and friends.
I took just under a half-million photos (HA! Yeah, right), so I can’t post them all here, but I definitely wanted to share some of my favorites. I should also mention that the wedding was at the Nines Hotel in Portland, OR., where the weather is usually mild, but this particular weekend (September 6, 2014) it was 100F!! This made for hot wedding parties atop the hotel, but I’m pretty pleased with how a lot of the photos turned out.
As far as weddings go, this was one of the funniest, funnest and tastiest that I’ve been to. Congratulations to Kristina and Jason on their marriage! ❤
