The first issue of VegNews Magazine in 2022 focused largely on making magical dishes out of culinary mushrooms, via recipes by the Sarno Brothers. Bright lighting and lighter pastels used to make the meaty dishes depict the coming of Spring. Art direction by Emily Utne, with food styling, photography, and editing by me, Jackie Sobon.
